JennB Thread Starter. Joined Aug 14, Messages 6. Supposedly the problem lies in the way Windows was installed on the Laptop. I have been an IncrediMail user forever, probably 6 years, I've run across small problems with it that were always fixable in the end but that was on my Desktop and it runs Windows XP Pro. How to uninstall Incredimail: Note : the tutorial mentions Add and Remove. If you use Vista, substitue that with programs and features. The rest works the same in both operating system.
This can create issues upon subsequent start-ups. It is necessary to manually remove Incredimail data from the user profile, the programs directory and the registry. This thread is locked. Let us know if that helps. I also posted this problem in IncrediMail's forum and got this response from one of the Moderators I would like you to install IncrediMail using the full setup file.
Of course as old as I am and as close to senility as I am I could have just missed it. Johanna, thanks a bunch for your help. I made sure to double check the link before I posted it to make sure it's available for anyone else who might encounter the same problem. Thank you so much for posting back and telling how you resolved the problem. I was hoping there was an updated version of the software that would let you carry on and not lose your archived mail.
